3. Booking Process and Confirmation

3.1 Booking Procedure

All bookings made through our platform are subject to availability and confirmation. When you make a booking request, you are making an offer to purchase travel services at the stated price and terms. Your booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from us via email.

3.2 Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our platform are in USD unless otherwise specified and include applicable taxes and fees as indicated. Prices are subject to change without notice until your booking is confirmed. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, even after booking confirmation, and will offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your booking.

Payment may be required in full at the time of booking or according to a payment schedule communicated during the booking process. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as specified on our platform. All payments are processed securely through encrypted systems.

3.3 Booking Modifications

Modifications to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Some bookings may be non-modifiable or have specific change policies. All modification requests must be made in writing and are subject to supplier terms and conditions.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Standard Cancellation Terms

Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of service booked and the supplier's terms. Unless otherwise specified, the following standard cancellation fees apply to most bookings:

• More than 90 days before departure: 5% cancellation fee
• 61-90 days before departure: 15% cancellation fee
• 31-60 days before departure: 35% cancellation fee
• 15-30 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee
• 8-14 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee
• Less than 7 days before departure: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

4.2 Special Circumstances

Different cancellation terms may apply for:

• Peak season bookings (Christmas, New Year, local festivals)

• Group bookings of 10 or more passengers
• Expedited or last-minute bookings
• Specialized activities or unique experiences

4.3 Force Majeure and Travel Advisories

In cases of Force Majeure events, government travel advisories, natural disasters, political unrest, or health emergencies that prevent travel, we will work with you to provide alternative arrangements or travel credits. Refund policies in such circumstances will be determined case-by-case and may be subject to supplier policies and government regulations.

5. Travel Requirements and Responsibilities

5.1 Travel Documentation

You are solely responsible for ensuring you possess all required travel documents including:

• Valid passport with appropriate validity period (typically 6 months beyond travel date)
• Required visas and entry permits for all destinations
• Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and evacuation
• Health certificates and vaccination records as required by destination countries
• Any permits required for specific activities or restricted areas

5.2 Health and Safety Requirements

Travelers must:

• Consult healthcare providers regarding destination-specific health requirements
• Obtain necessary vaccinations and medications as recommended by health authorities
• Declare any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary restrictions that may affect travel
• Maintain adequate physical fitness for planned activities
• Comply with all local laws, customs, and safety guidelines

5.3 Age Restrictions and Special Requirements

Some tours and activities have age restrictions for safety reasons. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless specifically noted otherwise. Pregnant women should consult healthcare providers before participating in adventure activities. We reserve the right to refuse participation in activities where safety concerns exist.

6. Liability and Risk Management

6.1 Limitation of Liability

TravelsDash acts as an intermediary between travelers and service providers. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for your specific booking. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Personal injury, illness, or death except where caused by our negligence
• Loss or damage to personal belongings
• Delays, cancellations, or changes to travel services caused by suppliers
• Acts of nature, terrorism, political unrest, or government actions
• Third-party services beyond our direct control

6.2 Third-Party Service Providers

We work with carefully selected, reputable local operators, hotels, airlines, and transport providers. However, these are independent contractors, and we cannot be held responsible for their actions, omissions, or the quality of their services beyond our reasonable control.

6.3 Travel Insurance Requirement

We strongly recommend and, for certain destinations and activities, require comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, interruption, and personal belongings. Travelers participating in adventure activities may need specialized coverage.
