Trip Overview

If you’ve ever dreamed of standing at the foot of some of the world’s most stunning mountains, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the perfect journey for you. Over 12 days, you’ll walk through breathtaking landscapes, from lush forests and traditional villages to the high alpine environment surrounded by towering Himalayan giants like Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (the famous Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and more.

The name Annapurna means “goddess of the harvest,” and as you trek through this incredible region, you’ll quickly understand why. The area is bursting with life—from colorful rhododendron blooms to diverse wildlife—and the warm smiles of the local Gurung people who call these mountains home.

Your adventure begins with a relaxing drive from Kathmandu to the peaceful city of Pokhara, nestled beside a shimmering lake and framed by snow-capped peaks. From there, you’ll start your trek in Phedi, following a well-loved trail that winds through charming villages like Dhampus, Jhinu Danda (where you can soak your tired muscles in natural hot springs), Bamboo, and Deurali. Each step brings you closer to the spectacular Annapurna Base Camp, sitting at 4,130 meters — surrounded by some of the most dramatic mountain scenery on Earth.

Along the way, you’ll be trekking through the Annapurna Conservation Area, home to an incredible variety of animals and plants. The vibrant ecosystem adds a magical touch to your journey, making it not just a trek but an immersion into nature’s wonder.

The trail is dotted with cozy teahouses where you can rest and recharge, enjoy a warm meal, and connect with fellow travelers. You’ll experience genuine Nepalese hospitality in the mountain villages, learning about the culture, traditions, and simple mountain way of life.

At Landscape Adventure, we believe trekking is about more than just the views — it’s about the stories, the people you meet, and the moments that stay with you long after the journey ends.
